ADULT OUTPATIENT PROGRAM

Adult Outpatient Program (AOP) services include a comprehensive range of psychotherapy services to address the intrapsychic, interpersonal, and substance abuse problems of adults living in the Seacoast. Services are designed to diagnose and treat disorders and maladaptive behaviors that cause distress. These behaviors may sometimes interfere with or threaten family, social or occupational functioning.

The goal of treatment is to provide an experience that will both reduce current difficulties and teach the coping skills necessary to manage life in constructive ways, returning individuals to full functional capacity at home, at work, and in the community.

Services offered by AOP include: individual and couples psychotherapy; group psychotherapy (Coping Skills and general therapy groups for men and women); psychological testing; crisis intervention; and consultation and referrals.

AOP Staff are Masters or doctoral level trained with experience in the field of therapy. We have a comprehensive intern program accredited by the American Psychological Association for pre-doctoral level psychologists. We also offer a Masters Level internship program for students in Social Work or Counseling.
