Family Outreach Therapist
We are seeking a clinician for our Child, Adolescent and Family Services Department to provide clinical services to children identified with a severe emotional disturbance and their families in our Portsmouth Office. The clinician will provide intake assessments, family and individual treatment, targeted case management and functional support services. Services will be delivered in the office, family’s homes and community settings. Experience with children, adolescents and family work preferred. Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field required. Candidate must be licensed in the State of NH or licensed eligible. Outreach Therapist
The Community Support Program at Seacoast Mental Health Center, Inc. is seeking a Therapist to join the Portsmouth based multidisciplinary team. This person will perform office and community based therapy and supportive services to adults with mental illness. The applicant must have a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology, and must either be licensed or working toward licensure in the State of New Hampshire. Ability to work in a team setting and experience with crisis intervention, dual diagnosis, and/or State systems a plus. This is an ideal position for someone who is seeking variety and to be challenged clinically.

The Community Support Program of SMHC is looking for an energetic, dedicated, experienced individual to join our Portsmouth-based treatment team. This position requires coordinating services and providing direct support, advocacy and assertive outreach to adults with mental illness. The ideal applicant will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services or the equivalent and preferably have one year of experience working in the field. Ability to work in a team setting and experience with crisis intervention, dual diagnosis and state systems, a plus.

Relief Worker
Relief Workers needed to provide support, skill teaching, supervision, and community integration to adults with mental illness residing in our group home and in community-based housing. Qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Services or Social Work. Experience working with individuals with mental illness is preferred. Hours are on call as needed. Adult Services Director
We are seeking an experienced leader to manage our Adult Services Team. The Director will supervise managers/coordinators of the Adult Services clinical teams, Career Focus and Housing Programs at Seacoast Mental Health Center, Inc. Candidates must possess a Masters degree in a mental health profession and be State licensed or license eligible in the State of New Hampshire. Candidates must have a minimum of three years progressive clinical and managerial experience in the community mental health system with specific knowledge in acute services, community support, and quality improvement programs.
